With a lifelong passion for the game and a career that’s spanned elite clubs, national-level competitions, and grassroots communities, Emma Pearce brings authenticity, leadership, and drive to everything she does — on and off the court.

Emma’s basketball journey began with the Bulleen Boomers junior program, where she developed the work ethic and court IQ that saw her represent various state teams, compete in School Sport Australia championships, and earn a coveted spot as a Melbourne Boomers Development Player. She has played NBL1 for several clubs, currently with the Knox Raiders, where her experience and tenacity have made her a valued contributor at the elite level.

Her love for the game also extends to the streets — Emma has made a name for herself in the streetball scene, becoming a three-time Summer Jam champion and taking out top honours in numerous other competitions. In the FIBA 3x3 World Series, she helped her team finish 3rd at one of the tour stops, and was recognised as the tournament’s top rebounders — a testament to her hustle, physicality, and relentless presence on the court.

Now, as the founder of FIERCE Basketball, Emma channels her experience into empowering the next generation of athletes. Her coaching is focused, energetic, and built on real experience — helping players grow in skill, confidence, and character.

Beyond basketball, Emma is a mum to three basketball-loving boys and holds a full-time role as Head of Operations in IT. She understands firsthand the importance of balance — how sport, education, family, and professional life all contribute to building resilient, well-rounded people.

Emma leads by example — in the gym, on the court, at work, and at home. Her journey proves that you can chase excellence while staying grounded in your values — and that being FIERCE is about far more than just basketball.
